Once a year I make a trek out to Palm Springs. The mid Century style, and great shopping is always amazing! This year I found a 1950’s motel turned vintage shop. Cool!

We hand print all our dish towels, and notebooks. Look for logo, and other designs in our shop.

The museum’s Haunted House was a graveyard smash yesterday! The place was filled with costumed kids, who stood in line with their parents to get into the spooky tour, designed by Hound & Quail’s Travis Flazer and brought to life by a team of amazing volunteers, including students from Farrington High School. You could squish brains, have rat soup, say hi to Mr and Mrs Vampire, and shake hands with Dracula. After closing up the house at the end of the day, the Farrington crew emerged back out into the sunlight and did the Wobble. Zombie flash mob in Palm Courtyard!

Spent the weekend roaming the city and hitting a few flea markets. Although there are no real deals to be found, its still an amazing shopping experience. Google “Hells kitchen flea market” for a complete list of places in Manhattan. Next time I’ll hit Brooklyn!

Valencia St. in San Francisco a must! Vintage shops galore! Walk up the street and have lunch at Zuni on Market. Head up to Little Italy, and grab some coffee beans at Graffeo on Columbus. If you feel like a drink, go into the quirky bar Vesuvius.




The Famous Obscura shop in New York, small, hot in the summer, but cool stuff!




Surry Hills is where its at in Sydney, Australia. Breakfast at Gnome, Yummy and hip!

This summer we had a run in Monocle Magazine. Not only was it a great honor, but its one of our favorite mags! If you’ve never flipped thru the pages, you don’t know what your missing… politics, travel, design, and stories from around the world. (yes, its one of those $10 heavy magazines)
